Its a fun Easter egg hunt at City Park! This year's event is going to be egg-cellent! Over 36,000 eggs for your kids to find! Please be sure to read through details listed here as the event has changed (from previous years). Everyone is required to have a ticket this year, including members of Friends of City Park. No need to bring your own basket, City Park provides the kids with a basket they'll love. The day will begin with the gates of Carousel Gardens opening for those with Egg Scramble tickets at 9am. Enjoy music, face painters, a magician, the Easter Bunny, storybook characters, and a balloon artist. All this extra fun is included in the Egg Scramble ticket price. At 10am listen for the whistle for the Easter Egg Hunt to begin! Kids fill up their basket with eggs and enjoy the candy and stickers found inside the eggs. Storyland will be an area for toddlers only. Toddlers may participate in any area for the egg hunt, but no big kids will be allowed in Storyland until after the egg hunt is completed. At 10:30am, or slightly before, the rides in Carousel Gardens will start whirling and twirling. There are 17 rides in the amusement park including the NEW Ladybug Roller Coaster!
