St. Patrick's Day Celebrations and Parades

All around town - 2020

March brings a new opportunity to enjoy outdoors and celebrate with family and friends. There is no shortage of fun to be had. All around the Greater New Orleans including the Westbank. Block parties, parades to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Family friendly fun!

Here is a list of parades and block parties coming up to celebrate St. Patrick's Day:

Confetti Kids Friendship Day Parade
. March 8 10:30 a.m. 
The Krewe of Confetti Kids will march in the annual St. Patrick’s-themed Friendship Day Parade

Parasol's Block Party Celebration
- March 14 and March 17 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
On 3rd and Constance. There will be music, green beer, food and surprises. 

CANCELLED Irish Channel Parade
- Saturday March 14 at 1 p.m.
The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club will hold its Annual Mass and Parade celebration at St. Mary's Assumption Church (corner of Constance and Josephine Streets) followed by the parade (Starts at Napoleon and Tchoupitoulas)

CANCELLED Italian-American St. Joseph's Parade in the French Quarter
- Saturday March 14 at 6:00p.m.
To celebrate St. Joseph the Italian American Club will hold a parade through the French Quarter. The parade starts at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Convention Center Blvd. and Girod Street. 16 floats, and 9 marching bands.

St. Patrick's Day Parade on Metairie Road
- Sunday March 15 at 12 Noon
The annual Metairie Road St. Patrick's Day begins at noon in front of Rummel High School on Severn Avenue, goes down Severn to Metairie Road, then Metairie Road to the parish line. 

Louisiana Irish Italian Parade (Metairie) - Sunday March 22 at Noon
The Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade will roll on the traditional Veterans Highway route in Metairie.


Gretna Irish Italian Parade - Sunday March 29 1 PM
The City of Gretna is hosting the inaugural Gretna Italian-Irish Parade. The parade will begin on Franklin Avenue and end at Huey P. Long Avenue and Fourth Street. Enjoy after parade festivities under the Gretna Marketplace. The parade will be comprised of floats, dance groups, and more!

St. Bernard Irish Italian Islenos Parade - Saturday April 4th at Noon
The St. Bernard Irish Italian Islenos Community Parade will roll along the W. Judge Perez route in Chalmette - from Meraux Dr. down to Ventura and back! It consists of 53+ floats, 35+marching groups 1,500+ members and 350,000 pounds of produce!
