Boo at the Zoo at the Audubon Zoo

Three days of spooky family fun on October 25, 26, and 27

It’s time to get your tickets for Boo at the Zoo, the annual family-friendly Halloween extravaganza that benefits Children's Hospital New Orleans and Audubon Zoo returning this year on October 25, 26, and 27.

Boo at the Zoo is a safe, family-friendly Halloween event with fun activities targeted for children up to age 12. This year’s event features themed experiences including an Extinct Species Scare-Yard, Weird World of Wheels, a Ghost Train, Mummy Manor sponsored by Members of The New Orleans Firemen's Federal Credit Union, activities, entertainment, and more.

“Boo at the Zoo is a beloved family tradition for the New Orleans community,” said President and CEO of Children’s Hospital New Orleans John R. Nickens IV. “Children’s Hospital has enjoyed celebrating Halloween with families for many years. Boo at the Zoo is a great way to encourage families to spend time having fun and making memories together.”

Tickets are $20 per person (adult or child) plus handling fees if purchased online. Children under 24-months-old receive complimentary admission to this event. A limited number of tickets will be sold for Boo at the Zoo each night, and tickets will only be honored for the date purchased. All activities and treats, except concessions, are included with admission.

The fun also includes nightly animal encounters and live entertainment on two stages: the Oogie Boogie Stage (Capital One Bank Stage) and Monster Mash Bash (Shell's Wildlife on Stage!) Contests for best group costume and best stroller/wagon decorations will be held each night of the event.

This spooky party will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26. The Sunday, October 27, event will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Audubon Zoo will close at 3:00 p.m. each night of Boo at the Zoo to prepare for the festivities. Click here to get your tickets.
