Legoland Florida Resort Theme Park and Water Park

Sponsored Review

Are your kids LEGO fans? Do they love theme parks? If you answered yes, then a road trip to LEGOLAND Florida Resort Theme Park and LEGOLAND Water Park is a must. When trying to plan a mini vacation for my family, I checked into LEGOLAND because I wanted to take my kids to a theme park that would be suitable for all my boys considering their age difference. LEGOLAND was definitely a great choice. I was very pleased that my 3 year old child was able to ride almost every ride. My 10 and 12-year-olds were also able to enjoy their time there.

LEGOLAND is a great family theme park geared to children 2-12. Admission is affordable, they often run promotions like buy one get one free ticket offers. You can add a second day for $20. Season passes are also very affordable if you think you will be able to go to Florida more than once a year.

LEGOLAND allows you to bring a cooler with food and drinks which is great for those on a budget. You can also exit the park and re-enter. They have a variety of foods, as well, so there are plenty of options when it comes to feeding the family.

The day of our visit the park opened at 10am and closed at 9pm with a special Knight Lights event. We were able to enjoy the water park and the rides. I would say that on extended hours days, LEGOLAND is definitely doable in one day, if the weather cooperates but adding a day is very affordable. While we did not get to ride every thing we did ride a lot, considering the weather and very short line waits.

Our family decided we would go on some rides first in the Duplo Valley, World of Chima and Lego Kingdoms before heading to the water park. All 3 boys really enjoyed the Dragon roller coaster and the Quest for CHI. The Quest for CHI is a water ride and you will get wet! Bring a towel or a change of clothes. I found it refreshing and fun. Then we headed to LEGO City on our way to the water park. My little guy loved going to the FORD Jr. Driving School and NFPA Rescue Academy. The older boys went to FORD Driving School and Flying School. The Flying School was so much fun even for the adults.

Once we got to the LEGOLAND water park, my older kids enjoyed the water slides while my little guy enjoyed the wave pool and the Creative Cove where he built a boat. This mom really enjoyed just sitting in the wave pool cooling down while watching my little guy play with lego bricks. Unfortunately, a storm was coming our way so we had to get out of the water park and figure out our next move. We decided to check out the Imagination Zone where the kids played with LEGOS, built and raced cars and played games.

Once the weather passed, we were able to get on more rides. We visited MiniLand which was amazing. The displays have so many little details. They have a Star Wars section that was impressive. After our tour of Miniland, we went to the new LEGO Ninjago World. This was by far my kids absolute favorite and we got to ride it 3 times without any wait in line. Their next favorite was The Lost Kingdom Adventure, which is like a laser tag game ride.

As the day came to an end, we stopped at one of the stores and allowed our kids to make their own minifigures. Then we headed back to the LEGO Kingdoms to enjoy the Knight Lights party. It was so much fun. We were handed 3D glasses that make everything look like LEGOS. We had an amazing time and made lots of memories as a family that we will treasure. I will definitely plan another visit to LEGOLAND.
